Harviestoun Brewery was established in 1984 by Ken Brooker in Dollar, Clackmannanshire in the shadow of the Ochil hills. Ken started brewing as a hobby. Today his beers are considered as being amongst the best not only in Scotland but also in the United Kingdom.

This ale has a fairly clear golden colour  as it pours producing minimal foam as it comes from the cask. It smells  malty with a bit of touch of floral hops. It has a nice mild balanced malty taste. It feels smooth and clean with medium a  body, a very drinkable real ale.
